Let’s talk wreaths! There is something about fall that makes me want to decorate every door in the house. I don’t know what it is, but I love it. However pre made wreaths in my opinion are out of my budget.  I don’t have a ton of experience making my own, however I do own a glue gun – haha!

Now it is time to get the supplies. I grabbed my coupons and my trusty COVID mask and headed to Michaels. All of their faux flowers were 40% off, which was a major win! Michaels always has such great deals and coupons, so I hardly ever pay full price.

When I was looking at the flowers, I just grabbed what caught my eye. Didn’t really have a major plan in mind on what I was going to create. I also picked up a styrofoam ring and an embroidery ring. The embroidery rings are great, because you essentially get two for the price of one.

Wreath Number 1!

Not sure what my plan is here, but just going for it
Hmmm…now what? Didn’t have enough rope.
Time to start plucking and cutting the flowers to see what I can do with this
Started with my base first.
Starting to get low on the wine – haha
It is starting to come together and I am seeing my vision come to life – YAY
Adding some more flowers
I realized after that I didn’t like the green from the ring popping through and I had some smaller rope so I added that.Overall I am really happy with how it turned out

Now let’s move to wreath Number 2!

This one was SUPER QUICK!

Snack Time – Love having kid snacks at my disposal 😉
Just took some of the flowers I had left over from the first wreath and just started glueing
Final – This one was super quick, but I think my favorite

So that’s it! Both of these wreaths took me only a couple of hours all together. I love them! I can’t wait to use the same method for winter – not too soon though. 😉

What do you think? I would love to see some of your homemade wreaths!
