The all you need Arts and Crafts Tool Box – Under $100

I have been acquiring these supplies slowly, but now I finally have everything I need to tackle any toddler project. Not sure about you, but since the start of quarantine I was not prepared. I had very little and I was on Pinterest every night trying to come up with projects to keep my now toddler who was now going to be home with us everyday, while we try to balance our day jobs. I felt like I was getting an Amazon package every other day. My husband was throwing glares at me because of all the cardboard – hehe!

We are fully equipped to go into winter with this stash!

The Starter Kit:

This is your starter kit for all things toddler crafts and beyond. First I will start with the must haves and then I will add the extras that are always fun to have on hand.

Construction Paper

This is an obvious must have, but your most expensive purchase. We go through a lot of it, so I highly recommend buying a bigger package. Originally I accidentally bought colored paper, but it didn’t work for some projects because it wasn’t thick enough. This paper is more of a card stock, so it plays double duty – general free coloring and has the strength for fun projects

Full set of Crayons

Our son never really liked the big toddler crayons – he just never used them. Once we got this he was more into it. I think he really likes having the choice of colors – even though he usually sticks with a couple of favorites. One of them is brown, I am like, really? haha

Glue Sticks

I have some containers of the typical Elmer’s Glue, but I trust him with the glue stick more. He can’t squirt this all over our rugs. 🙂

Stickers, Stickers and more Stickers!

These are great because he can actually peel them off himself. Or if I find some good ones that are in the trusty Target section with the $1 items, I pull off the borders and then he can pull them off without ripping the sticker in half.

Paints

When they say these are washable – they are not kidding! This paint comes off with just water. I have these is so many other colors, but starting with the primary colors is the way to go. We also enjoy mixing colors to see what else we can come up with.

Painting Accessories

So wish I had seen this package before, instead I bought these items separately. Let my mistake be your win! 🙂

So all of the above are your core items – you can absolutely get by with just that. However if you are like me and you want to try as many Pinterest Pins as possible 🙂 then I recommend this stuff too, because you can do so many things with these few items.

Googly Eyes

Popsicle Sticks

Pipe Cleaners

Contact Paper

Pom Poms

To sum it up, you can keep this going and going, but I have found with just these items alone we have been able work on so many projects. The possibilities are endless.

Stay Awesome!
